I have been on the hunt for some time (around 2 years) for a good HZ ute to repower with an LS motor, They are hard to find with little rust and current reg, But I found one so now the project starts, I am going to strip it right back to the chassis and rebuild it. Pics tomorrow of what I am starting with.

I am going to make an alloy front bar for it and will frame it up before stripping it out

If anyone knows of any web sites or forums on the older holdens then let me know as it would be great to know where to source bits from and get Ideas :-)

schaweet project! have been looking at those here in aus but they are all $6k to $20k for a decent one. Going up in price! 8)

The Cheviot wheels are classic too! They did sometimes leak air due to porosity, had to put tubes in some I had.
