We are in the process of having our own Billet CNC nozzles made... the first race version to bolt up to the American turbine is made and is currently being fitted and set up.
They are made from Billet 6061T alloy making them super strong yet light and hard wearing.
The advantages of 6061T is huge as its so much harder than cast alloy and dosent pick up gravel like cast which imbeds in the soft alloy and causes wear and lock ups.
We are going to test with hard anodising as well. We have tested and shown how much performance can be gained with tight tollerances on the steering nozzle.
The plan is to have a range of nozzles (trim and non trim) available for recreation and race CNC machined from Billitt alloy.

I am building an ext hood as well and have a KTTA 19 to go in it , its going to be a slow project though.

there is a new ext hood sitting in Nelson , the owner doesnt really need it as he decided to buy a complete truck instead of building one .

I had to pull back my plans for a new boat because of the KW project , I will make do with the boat I have in the short term .

this thread has really taken a sharp turn now .
