Here is what we have been doing with our small boats, these are the drawings that are being developed and not finished but are getting close to being produced to a cut file. The right one is the 440 and the left is the 3.1. We have also started on the pattern for the intake to suit a jet ski

oh look, youve exactly copied the wing design that i use, haha
Posted 5 years ago # -
That might be difficult as i didnt design the wing it was added by the guy that drew the boat for me as he has one on his own boat and thought it might look good on the wee boats I tend to agree

Soon
also will have progress on our new 6" intake and trim nozzle
Posted 5 years ago # -
Hi Mike
Will the nozzle adapt easily to a N/A Kawasaki 15F?
Posted 5 years ago # -
The plan is to make it easy to fit to any jet ski

Hi Mike,
Any up date on the new in take and nossel your developeing for jet ski's
Would have to be a good demand for these.
Cheers,
Murray.Posted 4 years ago # -
Hi Murray, the nozzles are all drawn up I need to get them to pattern maker to cast, and I am off to the foundry this week to do the next stage of the intake. Not sure that the demand will be big as most doing the small boats seem to be fabricating their own intakes etc and are not fussed on spending money on them, It seems to be 80% of the small boat market is guys doing it from their own garage because they can. Thats just what we Kiwis do

I think I would rather buy a well engineered one that flows well rather than build one which only just does the job...

Nice job, it certainly won't slip through your hands.
Posted 4 years ago # -
Good point Mike, I don't think you will ever win with that market, but thats all good as if you can make one you should.
The ski makers have put a far amount of R&D into getting their skis to perform and the intake is a huge part of this.
Just ask any jetboat racer about the performance gains in that area.
I will be hanging out for a proper intake with a bisal grill, hint...hint.Posted 4 years ago #
