I'd be keen, might be busy on the Friday but Saturday would be fine.
I'm off the sat/sun (7th & 8th) so either suits me. Might chuck a salmon rod in too.
Plus it depends if you get the work done on my boat that needs doing
I'll call you about that.
OK So who is keen for sun??
I thought launch at the main rd bridge and travel to Gorge bridge and return (lunch at gorge.)
We've got people staying over the weekend so I'd prefer Saturday, :P Glynn keen for saturday as well.
OK lets make it SAT then :-)
What time is launching?
Meet 9.30am at Rakaia at the Mobil station.
I have a spare seat....applicants must be of sound mind and body (at the start of the day)and must be willing to comfort my dog.....I dont expect anyone to take me up...but hey its worth an ask
Came over the Rakaia today while picking up a hull and jet and the river looks awesome.
The plan is to meet at the Mobile servo, But if you are running late just call my cell.

Awesome day with 4 boats, Pics to follow...I just walked in and will post after my steak is cooked and demolished
A great day on the river, launched just below SH1 bridge and cruised up to the gorge bridge for lunch. Plenty of people out chasing salmon.
Heading down and Glynn tagged a rock that gave his nozzle a curry up, as there was handy road access it was decided to trailer out rather than push on.
On the way down I took a short cut that got real interesting    a little goat track that kept going into those wide open shallow pools where you can't see the out until real late, might have missed this one
Looks like a great day.
Nice park Fly Boy

Great days boating apart from a leak around jet unit and not noticeing untill water was sloshing around our feet. Should have noteced someting was up as oil temp dropped dramatically due to water half way up the sump  Apart from that it was good run up.
Unfortunately a bit of carnage on the way down with Glynn clouting a rock about half way down and ripping the nozzle off and a decent sized dent on the transome The joys of boating
MMMM,looks like i missed a top day, sounds like u need to put auto switch for bilge on your early santa list.
Looks like a fantastic day was had despite the damage.
Great photos.
Gee that water looks a little rough in places?
