I'd be keen, might be busy on the Friday but Saturday would be fine.

I'm off the sat/sun (7th & 8th) so either suits me. Might chuck a salmon rod in too.

A great day on the river, launched just below SH1 bridge and cruised up to the gorge bridge for lunch. Plenty of people out chasing salmon.

Heading down and Glynn tagged a rock that gave his nozzle a curry up, as there was handy road access it was decided to trailer out rather than push on.

On the way down I took a short cut that got real interesting    a little goat track that kept going into those wide open shallow pools where you can't see the out until real late, might have missed this one

Ah the old short cut that cost you 20 minutes

Great days boating apart from a leak around jet unit and not noticeing untill water was sloshing around our feet. Should have noteced someting was up as oil temp dropped dramatically due to water half way up the sump  Apart from that it was good run up.
Unfortunately a bit of carnage on the way down with Glynn clouting a rock about half way down and ripping the nozzle off and a decent sized dent on the transome  The joys of boating
