I am thinking about racing my boat in the worlds this year in B Class, It will either be with current boat (providing no one buys it) or another 4.45, I have been speed testing impeller/nozzle combos and think it could be a bit of fun. I would start with a decent roll cage etc.
Anyone else looking at the same sort of set up? Could be a bit of fun

    Go for it
We ran in my 4.8 Recjet 2 years back and we had a ball
the only down side in the family style boat was the big pressure waves they hammer you at speed and now we have the race boat its amazing what the extra boat length makes.
with a cage and race seats it should be heaps better though.
We were getting 72-75 in the recjet and it was never in the same realm as the race boats but if you can drive @ 75 all day (and keep it going) you can still annoy them and if there are a couple of boats the same the racings way more fun.

One good thing about our boats is there ability in rough conditions at speed, My boat currently does 75mph down stream on the Mak, So even if I can sit on an average of 70mph and complete every leg (easier said than done I suspect  ) Then it should be respectable and it would be fun especially if others do the same.
