Here is a 4.1m hull and two stage that we picked up today that is heading to the north island, and will have a late model 3.8 fitted.
This is the same as the hull I have coming......I wonder if the owner would mind if I told him this was mine and he could have the next one...

Here are some pics of the boat about four weeks ago slowly taking shape.
Most parts around engine are now fitted. Fuel filters fitted accelerator pedal and linkages etc now sorted.
The hull has been stripped out and has been at paint shop for the last four weeks or so and has just arrived back. Will have some pics after weekend as it all goes together.

Boat back from paint shop. Fitted motor back in, plus cables, gauges and carpet today. Still a bit of fuel plumbing and wire up of gauges to do. Not far from the water now!

Pics from over the last 3 weeks or so. Boat going really well. Had trouble with front crank seal blowing out at hi revs but have since overcome this with modification to front timing cover oil return hole, and also screwed seal to front housing. Note, all return was partially blocked when front seal pressed in, hence excess oil from pump gears creating pressure behind seal.
GPS's boat speed at 87km with 3 people on board & full tank of fuel. Had some good river runs. Now just need some more rain (typical Hawkes Bay) and Tracy also says we need some push poles!!!  Boat has come together really well. :victory:
