   Just got back from an overnite camp with the kids (no boat)From Lake Opua, What a great place to camp and water ski, We are keen to do it again for a long weekend in the new year with boats etc. We had Konrads and Terrys boat this time but it was way too cold to ski (water was warm).
   Anyone else keen to make a long weekend of it?

   not a bad place eh,as long as its not too low as you get alot of mud around the shoreline!
   still,there are a lot of little bays to hide in overnight ,they didnt originally want campers but ive noticed a few groups "forgetting to go home" at night

   I'm keen to do a trip up to Lake Sumner sometime for a couple of days, take a rod, rifle & a electric dog :wink:
