Just had a call today from The guys that bought My sprint boat. They raced for the first time in the weekend and the results are WOW....They beat every group A boat in the club and pushed superboat. This was a club event but there were group A boats that came over to contest the series that has just been held here in NZ, Fastest group A boat was 58.6 and our boat did 57. ( all this on a 6l motor the same as whats in my demonstrator)
Fastest Superboat (on a new Kendrick engine) was 55sec. I am helping the guys with set up and they will continue to improve, This was the 2nd time the owner had driven the boat on a track, And will be double driven in the next round

Hey Mike!!

I just wanted to say that we had the time of our lives & we can't get the smile off our faces!

I am a first timer with this also & can highly recommend the sport!

yea safety crews done alot of pushing last night quiet a few groundings :D,i had quiet a few cans but do remember h20 boat doin lap with checkered flag :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

There were 21 'parkings' over the course of the night from everyone but 3 competitors :( most were simple offs (like ours - the boat sat well on the mud!!) others were more fullon, but no rollovers thankfully.

The water was much too shallow & everyone was bottoming out then going for a big skid along the mud! It made for an interesting night...

but in the end.... we won!!!!!! woohoo!!!!!!
