hey all ,im droppin a 400 small block in the boat running raw water and ive increased the sump by a couple of litres is there any problems that may come from this setup cheeers

Gidday Mike , yeh ive increased sump size to hold more oil hoping this will help with keeping engine cool ,just heard from different people that the 400 chev is prone to over heating ,is this true? and are there other measures i should be taking cheers butch.

hey Mike ,got a pic of the sump i changed, just running raw water setup no heat exchanger, motor only went back in this weekend so nothing else hooked up yet , but after seeing pics of you guys in weekend havin fun ill be havin a fair few late nights sortin it out.
