For those that dont know we have a range of jet sprint services, From parts to set up to new Scott Sprint hulls and Jets.
We have one boat racing in Australia having awesome success and will start prepping another as soon as the hull arrives.
Here are some pics of the Harris Marine boat we set up and raced before it went to Australia. We manufactured all the parts in house.

Here is the beginning of the steering system, Starting with a plate sprocket, The finished sprocket weighs less than the plate sprocket

The front of the boat is now lighter and more modern, The windscreen on this one is 1.6mm alloy making it very light... I am allowing for the cage and seats to shifted back since the setup will be much lighter

Turned the boat over and did a measure up to find The hull had a massive 70mm twist in it.....one Lady owner!! . A few hrs latter its down to 4mm (more than acceptable) And looking really good, as taking the twist out also straightened the outer sides as well. We will have to reposition the cage bolts when it goes back in so that it stays straight

Is this cradle the start of trailer or a work stand?

It looks like it's how he checks the degree of the hull and if it has a twist in it or not ?

Must be alot off twisted hulls out there.
I remember the add saying streightend ready for painting. lol.
You said after a couple of hours?, is it not so hard to take a twist out of a hull? Hows it done? .
Nice work so far Mike, interesting to watch .

Yes I suspect that there are allot of hulls racing with similar issues, Depending on where they are bent depends on how we go about straightening them....what you dont see in the pics is the holes where I have had steel beams bolted to get it straight. :-)
